Source: NYAltnews In his first debate with president Barack Obama, Mitt Romney surprised the hell out of me, and apparently most of the ABC news team as was evidenced by the post debate fawning they were doing over Romney's performance. In what was clearly a big win for Romney the Republican candidate pulled out all the stops and delivered an amazing debate that shows Mitt feels right at home on the debate stage. Romney's comments were clear, concise, and most of all right on target to hit the American people on the issues that m…
In November of 2010 I told you that President Obama thought India created U.S. Jobs Well, now he's saying that i nvesting in India is not a good idea at the moment. It would be considered hypocritical to urge people to invest in India when the President is also busy convincing people that Mitt Romney was the king of outsourcing jobs when he was head of Bain capital. I'm sure if Barack Obama gets re-elected, he will think it's O.K. to invest in jobs in India again.
This is a response to an article on Daily KOS on January 9, 2012. Written by Jesse LaGreca a.k.a. MinistryOfTruth. Text in light blue is Jesse's words. Black text represents my responses. This article is in no way a complete answer. I apologize, by the end I got bored and stopped trying. Sorry, the second half of his article just isn't that good. I meet you all the time. You hate Obama. You hate gay people. You hate black people, immigrants, Muslims, labor unions, women who want the right to make choices concerning their bodi…
I'm no campaign strategist, but I think this little ploy by the Obama campaign is more sinister as it seems. There is a donation page up that asks you to have a little holiday fun at the expense of one of your Republican friends. When you donate, you input their name and email address and they will send them email saying how you(the recipient)inspired your friend to donate to Barack Obama's campaign for re-election . Seems like it could be a funny holiday joke to play on your conservative friends. It's also a great way for th…
There is almost too much to talk about in the news these days. Turmoil in the Middle-East, Obamacare, DOMA, the economy, government spending, Tea Parties, Union backed teachers acting like children. The list is enormous. We really need more good news. Any good news. The government is pretty much a steaming pile of jelly incapable of doing anything useful, at least in it's current form. The stock market is up, the stock market is down. It has more highs and crashes than Charlie Sheen. The Middle-East is rapidly falling apart. Revolts in…
Nancy Pelosi , the defeated former speaker of the house may not be able to rely on her own words, as it appears her own colleagues want her to to keep Obama in check, and make sure he doesn't work too closely with Republicans. While this is not surprising news, it does lend more weight to critics assertions that with the Republican majority in the House, and only five seats shy of a majority in the Senate that gridlock will ensue when the 112th Congress convenes. After the crushing defeat the Democrats suffered on November 2nd, there w…
According to the AP, President Barack Obama announced that India is a creator of U.S. jobs, not a poacher. He claims that new trade agreements with India will create 54,000 in the United States. While India is a major importer and exporter of good between our two countries, much of what we import from India was once able to be cheaply produced here in the United States, and was in the minds of many, some of the highest quality goods ever produced. Why is our president looking to poorer countries like India to boost our economy? Pe…
I needed to write a piece to submit to examiner.com, as I am attempting to become a contributing writer to that outlet. I liked the piece so much, i decided to post it here for everyone to enjoy. We have seen through the first eight years of the new century, a shift has occurred that leads us away from the Reagan conservatism of the 1980's. This new philosophy, for the most part is more akin to liberal and centrist policies than to the ideals of great minds such as William F. Buckley Jr., Albert Jay Nock , Willmoore Kendall , and James B…

It's official, criticizing the President of the United States in any fashion makes you a hate speech slinging racist, who will be the target of death threats. Welcome to the ObamaSphere, where the thought police are connected directly to the minds of the zombies they control...they will find you, they will take you away, they will make you talk, they will reprogram you to work for the cause, they will.....ok, I'm kidding, but seriously? It appears no one on the left is capable of intelligent debate any more. This billboard is no…
The State Department is maintaining a "counter-misinformation" page on an America.gov blog that attempts to "debunk a conspiracy theory" that President Obama was not born in the United States, as if the topic were equivalent to believing space aliens visit Earth in flying saucers. However, in the attempt to debunk the Obama birth-certificate controversy, the State Department author confirmed Obama was a dual citizen of the U.K. and the U.S. from 1961 to 1963 and a dual citizen of Kenya and the U.S. from 1963 to 1…
Republican idiocy seems to come in twos. I commented during the Haiti Earthquake about Rush Limbaugh and Pat Robertson both making asses of themselves for their insensitive, politicized comments during that tragedy. Now it's happening again and this time it's just plain dumb. Michael Steele this week sounded like a liberal who thought George Bush was still in office when he opined "This is a war of Obama's Choosing." and that Afghanistan was a war "which the United States never really wanted to engage in…
By Jon Voight 11:06 a.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2010 An open letter from actor Jon Voight to President Obama: June 22, 2010 President Obama: You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people , and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies. You have done just the opposite. You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone's enemy — and it has resonated throughout the world. Yo…
Image via Wikipedia CNN is reporting that the president wants 15 million dollars to form a special commission to investigate the oil spill. This will take time and in effect to nothing to speed the cleanup of said oil spill. President Obama has already turned down aid from at least 13 countries, including the Dutch, who had ships outfitted with skimmers that would have cleaned up the oil quite nicely. *Update*(June 17th)President Barack Obama, after 54 days of indecision has finally accepted the aid of the Dutch. Washington (CNN) -- Presi…
I've decided, in the interest of time, to only write full articles on particularly interesting topics, general political issue, and major historical events. I've decided to switch to a more news aggregation style format where I link to relevant news around the world and comment only briefly on the topic. This will allow me to concentrate more on writing engaging articles about politics, life, and the things that make America great. I hope you enjoy our new direction. Now here is the first installment of "Around the Obamasphere&quo…
I received a comment about my earlier posting regarding Dale Robertson and his infamous "niggar"sign, and I just wanted to respond to this person. I realized as soon as I began to type that a reply to a comment would not be enough, so I decided to address his comment in a separate post. The guy holding the sign is on record, acknowledging the sign and the wording on it. http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/heather/alan-colmes-tea-partier-tells-mediaite-rac I found this in about 8 seconds on Google. You could have also. Are …
